Synoptic Designer is provided as a browser-based companion tool for Synoptic Panel. By using Synoptic Designer, you agree to use it only to create, edit, bind, save, and export SVG-based maps for Synoptic Panel.
Permitted Use
You may use Synoptic Designer to:
- create maps intended for Synoptic Panel;
- edit SVG or JSVG map files for Synoptic Panel;
- import local reference images or data lists to prepare Synoptic Panel maps;
- export JSVG files for use in Synoptic Panel;
- keep local project copies in your browser profile.
Any other use is not permitted unless OKVIZ provides explicit written authorization.
Prohibited Use
You must not use Synoptic Designer to:
- build, operate, or distribute a standalone drawing application or map editor unrelated to Synoptic Panel;
- modify, adapt, copy, extract, or redistribute Synoptic Designer or any part of it outside the intended Synoptic Panel companion workflow;
- reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to derive source code, algorithms, internal formats, or implementation details, except where applicable law expressly prevents this restriction;
- bypass, disable, or interfere with security, validation, storage, licensing, or integrity controls;
- use Synoptic Designer in a way that violates laws, third-party rights, or the rights of OKVIZ.
As-Is Availability
Synoptic Designer is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind. OKVIZ does not guarantee that Synoptic Designer will be uninterrupted, error-free, compatible with every browser policy, or suitable for every SVG file, image, dataset, report, or deployment scenario.
User Responsibility
You are responsible for the files, images, data lists, and maps you import, edit, save, and export with Synoptic Designer. You should review exported maps before using them in production reports and keep your own backups of important work.
Browser-local projects can be lost if browser storage is cleared, blocked, corrupted, or unavailable. OKVIZ is not responsible for loss of data, lost work, corrupted files, report issues, business interruption, or other damage resulting from the use of Synoptic Designer.
Relationship With Synoptic Panel
Synoptic Designer is designed to prepare maps for Synoptic Panel. A map exported by Synoptic Designer must still be reviewed and tested inside Synoptic Panel before it is used in a production Power BI report.
Use of Synoptic Panel is governed by the applicable Synoptic Panel documentation, licensing terms, and legal documents.
Changes
OKVIZ may update Synoptic Designer, these Terms of Use, and related policies at any time. Continued use of Synoptic Designer after changes are published means that you accept the updated terms.
