NOTE: Synoptic Panel Lite is a subset of Synoptic Panel with limited features. Both versions share the same codebase and changelog.

v2.5.1

Bug Fixes:

  • Fix an issue that prevent background and embedded images from being displayed.

    This issue was introduced in v2.4.8 and affects only Synoptic Panel Lite users. Due to the lengthy AppSource approval process and the Christmas holidays, the problem began impacting users on February 3, 2026.

    The issue affects only newly added maps that include background or embedded images. Existing maps are not affected.

    Since the AppSource approval process is expected to take approximately three weeks, the fix is estimated to be available on AppSource by February 24, 2026.

    Workaround

    1. Open the report where the issue occurs.
    2. Add Synoptic Panel (non-Lite) from AppSource to the report.
    3. Replace the existing Synoptic Panel Lite visual with Synoptic Panel (non-Lite).
    4. Remove and re-add the affected map.
    5. Switch back to the Synoptic Panel Lite visual.
